An overall look at where to stop by at Zaanse Schans:

Basically everything that you heard of or wanna know about Holland (Netherlands) is here! From cheese, handicrafts, windmills, cheese to wooden clogs, this place is a one stop wonderland which is family and honeymoon friendly.

The pancake house.

Dutch Clogs anyone?

Afterthoughts:

Amsterdam may be charming but to to see a more native side of Holland, head out to Zaanse Schans. Afterall, you haven't been to Holland if you haven't seen a windmill! This is a perfect alternative for people who wants to see the windmills of Kinderdijk but have limited time in Netherlands. Our next post will be on another possible day trip to the Waterland (Edam-> Volendam -> Marken)! Stay tuned!
