Post Pregnancy Care - Post Natal Massage Singapore Review : Why I Chose PNSG?

Post pregnancy care with PNSG

Three cheers to Singapore for finally transiting into Phase 2 successfully!!!!  I can finally start my 5 days with post natal massage services with Post Natal Massage Singapore PNSG.

When I was pregnant with BabyOOPS, I had already heard about many mummies telling me that the 2 most important post pregnancy care services that I should chope reservation are Confinement nannies and Post Natal Massage therapist. There are many free lancers out there who are doing these jobs. But because these 2 services required very hands on skills, it is important to secure a skillful one and you can only find out via word of mouth or reviews by other mummies who had engaged the services.

After giving birth to BabyOOPS, I engaged a free lance therapist by word of mouth. There were some mixed reviews but I decided to take it up anyway as her rates were cheaper, my cousins also engaged her and almost all reviews indicated that she was very skillful. While I enjoyed the relaxation of having the massage, there were some things about the therapist that really annoys me. Firstly, I felt compelled into following her "advice" about post natal care even when I'm doubting it. She even nagged at me when she saw that I am not following. Secondly, the mats and towels that she brought along with her as part of the massage were so dirty and oily and I really wonder if she ever wash it. Thirdly, there were like hidden costs of asking me to purchase binders from her when she was here. Last but not least, it seemed so difficult for me to provide any feedback to make changes since she seems to be "always right". I'm kinda stuck with this therapist since I have already committed and paid for it.

At the end of my 7 days massage with this therapist, I tell myself "that's it, no more of such massage." I love the post natal massage and the binding as I could see the benefits of it on my postpartum recovery. However, the mental stress from dealing with the therapist is so much more than the benefits I received from the massage.

Fast forward to 2 years down the road when I'm pregnant with MeiMeiOOPS...
Once again, I have friends asking me if I had secured my confinement plans and massage therapist. I shared my nasty experience during my first pregnancy and how I'm worried about meeting another skillful but irritating therapist. That's when I first heard about Post Natal Massage Singapore PNSG. The experiences which my friends had were so positive that it once again triggered my interest to indulge myself in some postpartum self care once again.

So these are the reasons why I chose to engage a therapist from Post Natal Massage Singapore:
1) The ability to provide feedback so that changes can be made swiftly without fear of souring the relationship. This is so important after my negative and helpless experience with my first free lance therapist. Meh.
2) The therapists received the same training on how to do Jamu post natal massage and have a set of standard operating  procedures SOP that they are required to follow so consumers like us would be more assured of the quality and standards of the massage and customer service. During session 1, I was given a booklet with all the steps I can expect from the massage sessions, the effectiveness of it and the benefits behind post natal massage. It also included steps on baby massage.
3) The multiple positive reviews about the therapists and successful post natal slimming experiences also made me more confident about trying out their services. On top of those I read online, I had about 4 other friends who had engaged them and gave similar positive feedback.
4) I think the best insurance from taking up the service with the company is that even if I am still not satisfied with the massage services after they tried to make changes, the company can also arrange a free replacement of therapist if really required.
5) No extra hidden costs. ‘Nuff said.

In my next blog post, I am going to share more about my pleasant post natal massage experiences with my therapist, Auntie Saleha and why I never regret choosing PNSG. So do stay tuned!

Regards,
Mrs OOPS
