Review: Now & Forever Wedding Showcase at M Hotel Singapore

I was at M Hotel with my family for a staycation weekend to celebrate my sister's birthday. And it just so happened that the hotel was having their NOW & FOREVER Wedding showcase. Since they offered free entry for Standard Chartered credit card holders, I guess I should drop by to have a look and offer my review.

Location: 

Definitely not the most convenient hotel when it comes to location. It takes about a 10 mins walk from Tanjong Pagar MRT.

Ballrooms:

1) Anson Room, Level 2

For couples who intend to have their wedding in Anson room, they will have their own private space for reception at the second floor.

There's also this nice walkway with doors that linked you directly to the banquet hall. Traffic will be smooth!

For couples who are looking for a high ceiling, chandeliers kind of ballroom, this will not meet your expectations. Do also note that due to the deisgn of the ballroom, the tables at the most left side of the picture may have restricted view of the stage.

2) Banquet Suite

This banquet hall is slighly of a higher ceiling compared to anson room. It also felt more spacious except that it has 2 big pillars in the hall. It will probably not be much of an issue for the guests as the main stage is placed in such a way whereby the pillars will not be blocking anyone's view.

Kindly note that the stage set up as shown in the photo is not exactly what the hotel will be providing. The giant LOVE marquee lights are sponsored by IM.perfection, a rental props company in Singapore which has a wide selection of interesting props and decoration for rental at affordable rates.

Random: A very lucky us get to hear Tay KeXin, wedding singer of Sparkle Live Music, singing and promoting their services. She did an awesome rendition of  Fan Fan 范玮琪's popular wedding song, 最重要的决定! *sways*

Solemnization set up at the end of Anson Hall. This will be good for couples who intends to do solemnization right before the banquet. I will prefer my solemnization to be in a separate room with my banquet hall.

If you notice, third theme is focusing on purple florals and decoration. The stage set up also uses fairy lights with purple paper pom poms.

Price:

For couples who have a very tight budget, this hotel will be your absolute choice. It is definitely not easy to find hotel which offers packages for wedding lunches at less than $800 and wedding dinner not exceeding $1200 per table (prices quoted are before 10% service charge and 7% GST). I was reading through their perks and I felt it was pretty decent and comprehensive too. 

Hotel Stay:

This will be a bonus information since I happened to have my staycation with the hotel. The hotel rooms are really spacious and clean. Beds were comfy too. Check in and check out was very smooth too. Do also note that they have a jacuzzi in their bridal suite~ Hiak hiak! How cool is that!!!
